Samer Kassem is an accomplished executive with extensive global experience in the pharmaceutical sector. His 25-year career spans operations across 30 countries, with proven expertise in Finance, Consulting, Brand Management, Sales, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
As CEO of Aspen Global Incorporated, Mr. Kassem spearheaded the company's international expansion, establishing operations worldwide and overseeing strategic acquisitions. Under his leadership, Aspen solidified its position as the largest offshore firm in Mauritius and a key industry player with a presence in over 150 nations, significantly contributing to the country's economy.
Issam Sarkis is a globally accomplished Chief Financial Officer with 20 years of extensive experience in strategy, leadership, analytics, operations, mergers and acquisitions, board governance, and treasury management. He has played an instrumental role in Aspen Global Incorporated's transformation from a mid-sized company in 2008 to a global leader in branded and generic pharmaceuticals.
Under his financial guidance and oversight, Aspen has overseen more than 35 transactions totalling a combined enterprise value exceeding €4.5 billion. Highly adaptable and innovative, he brings academic and professional experience across seven locations on four continents, exemplifying his ability to thrive in diverse environments.
Pauline Macdonald brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry to her role at Aspen Global Incorporated. Her career spans across Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, showcasing her multifaceted expertise.
Before joining Aspen, Pauline spent 11 years at GlaxoSmithKline in the UK, where she held various roles. In 2009, she moved to Mauritius to join Aspen Global, initially heading the Quality department. Her leadership and dedication led to rapid advancements, taking on more responsibilities and functions over the years. Since 2020, Pauline has been the COO of Aspen Global, overseeing all operational departments, including Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Artwork. In 2024, her role expanded to include the oversight of the end-to-end supply chain for the entire Aspen Group, coinciding with her becoming a member of the Aspen Group Executive Committee.
Pauline's journey from technical scientific roles to executive strategic management highlights her as a distinguished leader and pharmaceutical executive.
